10 feel good songs to keep your spirits high
Music makes everything better. Jogging, cooking, shopping, cleaning; it is all better with music.
I try to listen to music every day and I usually do so on a run or walk. I find that it really lifts my spirits up. What a better time than now to try and lift up your mood with a few positive songs.
In this blog post I am particularly focussing on uplifting ‘happy’ songs that are likely to put a smile on your face. Well they work for me anyway.
You could maybe listen to them on your daily outing or even just put your headphones in and chill on the couch. It’s important to take time to switch off from everything; especially the news. At the minute, news outlets have nothing else to talk about other than Corona virus and it is all doom and gloom. I get that it is necessary to report as we all need to know what is happening, but it’s nice to have a break from it now and again.
So put them headphones in and get listening to this list of songs to go with the sunshine that we’ve got (and hopefully keep getting).
The Kinks- Waterloo Sunset
If you want to relax and chill out, then this is the song to listen to.
The Boo Radley’s- Wake Up Boo!
This song is great to listen to first thing in a morning. It sets me up for the rest of the day.
Big Mountain- Baby I love your way.
This song just reminds me of summer. It puts me in such a good mood.
The Feeling- Fill my little world right up
Such a throwback song.
Supergrass- Alright
This song has been in so many films and I just love it. Paolo Nutini also does an amazing cover.

Speaking of Paolo, every album of his is basically the happiest music in the world but this song is one of my favourites.
The Beatles- Good Day Sunshine
This song is off the album Revolver and is a classic feel good song.
Stereophonics- Have a nice day
I have seen this song performed live and it just reminds me of festivals and days drinking in the sunshine.
Liam Gallagher – Now that I’ve found you
A catchy song that will be stuck in your head all day!
Kyle Falconer- Family tree
Kyle Falconer is the lead vocalist for the band ‘The View’ but this is one of his songs from his solo career. It will keep your spirits high!
